AN ACT CONCERNING QUALIFYING CONTRIBUTIONS UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-704 of the general statutes be amended to increase by twenty per cent the amount in qualifying contributions a candidate must receive to be eligible for a grant from the Citizens' Election Fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of money candidates must raise in order to qualify for a grant under the Citizens' Election Program.
