AN ACT CONCERNING CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR TUTORS OF MINOR STUDENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require criminal background checks for all persons providing educational services as tutors to minor students.

Statement of Purpose:

To require all tutors working with students under the age of eighteen to have a criminal background check before hiring.
