AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXTENSION OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN LAW TO APPLY TO THE RESCUE OF CHILDREN FROM HOT CARS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 52-557b of the general statutes be amended to extend immunity under the Good Samaritan law to any person who breaks into a hot car in order to rescue a child.
Statement of Purpose:
To extend the Good Samaritan law to apply to the rescue of children from hot cars.
