AN ACT CONCERNING THE ASSESSMENT OF HOMES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS IN A MUNICIPALITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to provide that municipalities with housing units valued at less than one hundred thousand dollars may count such units as affordable housing units for the purpose of determining eligibility for a moratorium from the provisions of said section.

Statement of Purpose:

To include low-cost housing units as affordable housing. .
