AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OR DESTRUCTION OF TREES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 7-148 of the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to enact ordinances regulating the removal and destruction of trees within municipal boundaries.

Statement of Purpose:

To authorize municipalities to regulate the removal or destruction of trees within municipal boundaries.
