AN ACT PROHIBITING UNOPPOSED CANDIDATES FROM RECEIVING GRANTS FROM THE CITIZENS' ELECTION FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit unopposed candidates from receiving grants from the Citizens' Election Fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent grants from the Citizens' Election Fund from being used to fund campaigns for unopposed candidates.
