AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BLUE RIBBON COMMISSION ON STATE SPENDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That there be established a Blue Ribbon Commission on State Spending to be charged with examining current state expenditures and programs and developing recommendations, including any needed programmatic, policy or statutory changes, in order to reduce long-term growth of expenditures for the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce long-term growth of state expenditures and to promote policies that will increase the efficiency and efficacy of state programs.
