AN ACT REQUIRING THE REVIEW OF NEW GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 16 of the general statutes be amended to require the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee to conduct a program review of any new government program established by the legislature not later than two years after such program is established.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase efficiency in government by requiring the Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee to review new government programs.
