AN ACT ELIMINATING GRANTS UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM FOR UNOPPOSED CANDIDATES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit unopposed candidates from receiving a grant under the Citizens' Election Program.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate grants for unopposed candidates under the Citizens' Election Program.
