AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF HEATING SYSTEMS IN SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-283 of the general statutes be amended to make the cost of replacing existing heating systems in schools with alternative energy heating systems, such as geothermal energy or solar energy, eligible for purposes of calculating eligible costs for school building project grants.
Statement of Purpose:
To make the cost of replacing current school heating systems with an alternative energy heating system eligible for reimbursement from school construction grants.
