AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CREDIT AGAINST THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE POLICY COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a credit against the personal income tax to individuals who purchase or maintain a long-term care insurance policy.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage individuals to purchase long-term care insurance.
