AN ACT EXEMPTING HEALTH CLUB AND ATHLETIC CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES AND INITIATION FEES FROM TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-543 of the general statutes be amended to exempt all health club and athletic club membership dues and initiation fees from the dues or initiation fees tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To exempt all health club and athletic club membership dues and initiation fees from the dues or initiation fees tax.
