AN ACT REDUCING THE THRESHOLD AMOUNT THE GOVERNOR MAY TRANSFER BETWEEN SPECIFIC APPROPRIATIONS TO A BUDGETED AGENCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-87 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the threshold amount of the sum or sums that the Governor may transfer to or from any specific appropriation to a budgeted agency from one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars to fifty thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the threshold amount that the Governor may transfer between specific appropriations made to a budgeted agency.
