AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIMINATION OF THE SALES TAX ON TAKE-OUT FOOD.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the sales tax on all prepared, ready-to-eat, take-out food.

Statement of Purpose:

To remove the sales tax from take-out food.
