AN ACT ELIMINATING THE ESTATE TAX FOR RESIDENT ESTATES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 217 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the estate tax for the estates of persons who were residents of the state at the time of their deaths.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate the estate tax for the estates of persons who were residents of the state at the time of their deaths.
