AN ACT CONCERNING ADOPTION OF THE STATE BUDGET BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that the General Assembly adopt the state budget bill on or before the first day of April in the year in which such bill is introduced.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with information about state aid in sufficient time to prepare their budgets.
