AN ACT CONCERNING THE DONATION OF EQUIPMENT TO THE REGIONAL VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL SCHOOL SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to allow the Commissioner of Education to indemnify and hold harmless any person who makes a gift of tangible property or properties with a fair market value in excess of one thousand dollars to the Department of Education or the regional vocational-technical school system for instructional purposes.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the donation of equipment to vocational-technical schools by private companies and businesses.
