AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING AND YEAR-ROUND YOUTH EMPLOYMENT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That funding to the Labor Department for summer youth employment and training for youth ages fourteen to twenty-four and year-round employment of sixteen to twenty-four-year-olds be increased to six million dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013.

Statement of Purpose:

To help Connecticut youth become employed.
