CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2017–2018 REGULAR SESSION

Senate Bill No. 761

Introduced by Senator Fuller

February 17, 2017

An act to amend Section 17070.25 of the Education Code, relating to school facilities.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 761, as introduced, Fuller. School facilities.
The Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 requires the State Allocation Board to allocate to applicant school districts prescribed per-unhoused-pupil state funding for construction and modernization of school facilities. The act requires the Department of General Services to publish applications for funding and to be prepared to receive and expeditiously act upon applications.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the latter provision.
Vote: MAJORITY   Appropriation: NO   Fiscal Committee: NO   Local Program: NO

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 17070.25 of the Education Code is amended to read:

17070.25.
