SB 744, as introduced, Hueso. Employee Right to Privacy.
Existing law establishes the Department of Industrial Relations in the Labor and Workforce Development Agency. Existing law provides that one of the functions of the Department of Industrial Relations is to foster, promote, and develop the welfare of the wage earners of California, to improve their working conditions, and to advance their opportunities for profitable employment.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation amending the Labor Code to establish the “Employee Right to Privacy.”

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation amending the Labor Code to establish the “Employee Right to Privacy.”
