BILL NUMBER: SB 708 INTRODUCED
BILL TEXT
INTRODUCED BY Senator Hollingsworth
FEBRUARY 27, 2009
An act to amend Section 62074 of the Food and Agricultural Code,
relating to milk.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 708, as introduced, Hollingsworth. Milk: pricing.
Existing law requires the Secretary of Food and Agriculture to
establish minimum prices to be paid by handlers for market cream,
market skim milk, or milk fat, or market skim milk components of
market milk, if the secretary establishes a stabilization and
marketing plan for market milk.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that
provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 62074 of the Food and Agricultural Code is

milk, or milk fat, or market skim milk components of such market
