Job training.
Existing law requires the Employment Development Department to administer various job training and placement programs and services, as specified.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to increase apprenticeship, preapprenticeship, and summer employment opportunities for youth in poverty and to create a source of dedicated funding
