An act to amend Section 2928 of the Labor Code, relating to employment.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 3250, as introduced, Wendy Carrillo. Wage deduction: tardiness.
Existing law prohibits a deduction from the wages of an employee on account of the employee coming late to work in excess of the proportionate wage that would have been earned during the time actually lost, except as provided.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
