An act relating to dairy farms.

AB 3190, as introduced, Patterson. Dairy farms: microdairies: exemption: building and space requirements.
Existing law establishes standards for the operation and maintenance of dairy farms licensed in the state. Existing law requires that dairy farms be constructed in accordance with the regulations, plans, and specifications adopted by the Secretary of Food and Agriculture.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that would define “microdairies” and exempt those dairies from specified building and space requirements that are otherwise required for licensed dairy farms in the state.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that would define “microdairies” and exempt those dairies from specified building and space requirements that are otherwise required for licensed dairy farms in the state.
