An act to amend Section 7920.000 of the Government Code, relating to public records.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 1821, as introduced, Pacheco. California Public Records Act.
Existing law, the California Public Records Act, requires state and local agencies to make their records available for public inspection, unless an exemption from disclosure applies.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the provision establishing the title of the act.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 7920.000 of the Government Code is amended to read:

7920.000.
 This division shall be is known and may be cited as the California Public Records Act.
