AN ACT

 

amending Title 41, chapter 14, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-2023; relating to early intervention programs and services for infants and toddlers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 41, chapter 14, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-2023, to read:

START_STATUTE41-2023. Autism screening

Every child who is enrolled in an early intervention program or service shall be provided autism screening at sixteen months of age and thirty months of age unless a parent of the child refuses the autism screening or the child already has an autism diagnosis. END_STATUTE
