AN ACT
Amending title 36, chapter 3, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-340; relating to birth certificates.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 36, chapter 3, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-340, to read:
36-340. Adult adoptees; access to birth certificates
Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, an adult adoptee who provides the following information and who pays the applicable fee may obtain a certified copy of the adoptee's birth certificate that was registered pursuant to this article:
1. The name of the adoptee's birth mother.
