AN ACT
appropriating monies to county sheriffs for administering release coordination reentry services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriations; administering release coordination reentry planning services; exemption
A. The sum of $500,000 is appropriated from the state charitable, penal and reformatory institutions land fund established by section 37‑525, Arizona Revised Statutes, in each of fiscal years 2018-2019, 2019‑2020 and 2020‑2021 to a county sheriff of a county with a population of less than three hundred thousand persons but more than two hundred five thousand persons for administering release coordination reentry planning services for persons who are in the custody of the sheriff.
B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
