SENATE BILL 1377

 

 

 

An Act

 

appropriating monies to the department of public safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of public safety; civil air patrol infrastructure; reports; exemption

A. The sum of $10,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of public safety for civil air patrol infrastructure.

B. Until all of the monies appropriated by this section have been distributed, on or before December 1 of each year, the department of public safety shall submit a report to the joint legislative budget committee on the monies distributed and the intended purposes of the distributions.

C. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
