SENATE BILL 1349

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

Relating to the state parks board.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  State parks board; emergency procurements; management of state parks; delayed repeal

A.  Notwithstanding section 41‑2537, Arizona Revised Statutes, the director of the department of administration shall authorize the Arizona state parks board to make emergency procurements for contracts from a public or private entity or an Indian tribe to:

1.  Assist in the operation, management or maintenance of one or more state parks.

2.  Completely operate, manage or maintain one or more state parks.

B.  This section is repealed from and after June 30, 2011.

Sec. 2.  Emergency

This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
