SENATE BILL 1225

 

 

 

An Act

 

appropriating monies to the department of economic security.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriations; department of economic security; provider rate increases; habilitation services; room and board; Arizona early intervention program

A. The sum of $60,000,000 from the state general fund and $120,000,000 from expenditure authority are appropriated in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of economic security for provider rate increases for services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

B. The sum of $18,000,000 from the state general fund and $36,000,000 from expenditure authority are appropriated in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of economic security for home and community based services for:

1. Habilitation services for adults and children and habilitation services at vendor supported developmental homes.

2. Room and board at vendor supported developmental homes.

3. Habilitation services and room and board at group homes.

C. The sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of economic security for the Arizona early intervention program.
