SENATE BILL 1032

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9‑500.32; relating to municipal courts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.32, to read:

START_STATUTE9-500.32.  Municipal courts; monies transfer; restrictions

A city or town may not transfer monies from a municipal court to any other department after the adoption of the final budget unless the governing body of the city or town approves the transfer.  This section does not apply to monies collected as a result of a criminal case, civil traffic violation or local ordinance.
