A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 

amending the Constitution of Arizona; amending article vII, section 14, constitution of Arizona; relating to elections.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona, the Senate concurring:

1.  Article VII, section 14, Constitution of Arizona, is proposed to be amended as follows if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor:

START_STATUTE14.  Fee for placing candidate's name on ballot; petitions

Section 14.  No fee shall ever be required in order to have the name of any A candidate may file petition signatures as otherwise provided by law or a candidate may choose to pay a fee as otherwise provided by law to be placed on the official ballot for any election or primary. END_STATUTE

2.  The Secretary of State shall submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election as provided by article XXI, Constitution of Arizona.
