AN ACT
Amending title 37, chapter 2, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 37-242; relating to state trust land.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 37, chapter 2, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 37-242, to read:
37-242. Sale of trust lands annexed by cities and towns
The commissioner shall offer trust land for sale within one year after the land is annexed by any city or town. The land must be sold by advertisement and auction in the manner prescribed by law.
Sec. 2. Sale of trust lands within cities and towns
No later than September 30, 2012, the state land commissioner shall offer all trust land that is currently located within the exterior boundaries of all cities and towns for sale by advertisement and auction in the manner prescribed by law.
