AN ACT
amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9‑500.33; amending title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11‑251.17; amending title 28, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28‑339; relating to streets and highways.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.33, to read:
9-500.33. Liquid anti-icers and deicers
A city or town shall implement policies to use liquid anti‑icers and liquid deicers on streets and highways in this state for snow and ice removal.� The city or town shall consider using liquid anti‑icers and liquid deicers before using solid deicers and may only use solid deicers when necessary.
Sec. 2. Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-251.17, to read:
11-251.17. Liquid anti-icers and deicers
A county shall implement policies to use liquid anti‑icers and liquid deicers on streets and highways in this state for snow and ice removal.� The county shall consider using liquid anti‑icers and liquid deicers before using solid deicers and may only use solid deicers when necessary.
Sec. 3. Title 28, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-339, to read:
28-339. Liquid anti‑icers and deicers
