AN ACT
Appropriating monies to the department of child safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Supplemental appropriation; department of child safety; attorneys
In addition to the appropriation made by Laws 2015, chapter 8, section 21, the sum of $1,000,000 and 22 FTE positions are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2015-2016 to the department of child safety for additional protective services section attorneys and support staff.
Sec. 2. Appropriation; department of child safety; attorneys
The sum of $8,028,000 and 85 FTE positions are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2016-2017 to the department of child safety for protective services section attorneys and support staff.
Sec. 3. Appropriation; department of child safety; attorney retention
The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2016-2017 to the department of child safety to increase protective services section attorney salaries and employee-related expenses for the purpose of retaining protective services section attorneys.
