AN ACT

 

amending title 13, chapter 37, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 13‑3729; relating to concealed or falsified hospital information.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 13, chapter 37, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 13-3729, to read:

START_STATUTE13-3729.  Unlawful concealment or falsification of hospital information; classification

A.  It is unlawful to conceal or falsify any information that is collected for placement in or contained in a hospital report or record that is related to the timing of when a patient receives care from the hospital or the number of patients who are treated at the hospital.

B.  A violation of this section is a class 1 misdemeanor. END_STATUTE
