AN ACT
amending Title 18, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding chapter 6; relating to personal information.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 18, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding chapter 6, to read:

DATA COLLECTION
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
18-601. Data collection; personal information; access
A. Any commercial or business website that collects personal information from any person and that has more than five hundred users or personal accounts shall establish a personal information portal. The personal information portal must be a secure online website that allows a person to access the person's collected personal information and to correct any error in the person's personal information.
B. For the purposes of this section, website does not include a website that is operated by a state agency.
