AN ACT

 

Amending title 9, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-410; amending title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11-269.13; relating to government‑owned real property.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-410, to read:

START_STATUTE9-410.  Annual report on real property owned by a city or town

Beginning fiscal year 2015-2016, the governing body of a city or town shall publish a report on or before June 30 of each year of all of the real property owned by the city or town.  The report shall include the following:

1.  The location of each parcel of real property owned by the city or town.

2.  The fair market value of each parcel of real property owned by the city or town.

3.  The property tax valuation for each parcel of real property owned by the city or town if the parcel was owned by a private landowner.

4.  A list of the real property that was purchased by the city or town that fiscal year, including the source of the monies used to pay for the property, the final sale price and the name of the seller of the property.

5.  A list of the real property that was sold by the city or town that fiscal year, including the final sale price and the name of the buyer of the property. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2.  Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-269.13, to read:

START_STATUTE11-269.13.  Annual report on real property owned by a county

Beginning fiscal year 2015-2016, the board of supervisors of each county shall publish a report on or before June 30 of each year of all of the real property owned by the county.  The report shall include the following:

1.  The location of each parcel of real property owned by the county.

2.  The fair market value of each parcel of real property owned by the county.

3.  The associated property tax valuation for each parcel of real property owned by the county if the parcel was owned by a private landowner.

4.  A list of the real property that was purchased by the county that fiscal year, including the source of the monies used to pay for the property, the final sale price and the name of the seller of the property.

5.  A list of the real property that was sold by the county that fiscal year, including the final sale price and the name of the buyer of the property. END_STATUTE
