AN ACT

 

Amending title 36, chapter 5.1, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-596.58; relating to DEVELOPMENTAL disabilities.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 36, chapter 5.1, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-596.58, to read:

START_STATUTE36-596.58.  Medical services provided by family members; department immunity from liability

A person who provides medical care to a family member who has a developmental disability shall hold the department harmless for any medical condition that results from providing that care. END_STATUTE
