AN ACT

 

Amending Title 23, chapter 6, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 23-911; relating to workers' compensation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 23, chapter 6, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 23-911, to read:

START_STATUTE23-911.  Physician disqualification

If a claim is denied based on a physician's medical report and the denial is reversed for three separate claims within a two‑year period, the physician may not be chosen as an attending physician for the purposes of claims filed pursuant to this chapter for a period of five years after the most recent reversal of a claim that was denied based on the physician's medical report.
