HOUSE BILL 2154

 

 

AN ACT

 

Making a supplemental appropriation to the department of law for court ordered distributions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Supplemental appropriation; department of law; mortgage settlement; exemption

A.  In addition to any other monies appropriated to the department of law in fiscal year 2012-2013, and excluding the $50,000,000 to be deposited in the state general fund pursuant to Laws 2012, chapter 294, section 128, the remainder of the funds received pursuant to the consent judgments in the National Mortgage Settlement is appropriated to the department of law in fiscal year 2012-2013 for distribution pursuant to applicable court orders.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
