AN ACT
amending title 38, chapter 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 4; relating to public safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 38, chapter 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 4, to read:
ARTICLE 4. MISSING AND UNIDENTIFIED PERSON REPORTING
38-1181. Missing and unidentified person reports
A law enforcement agency that receives a report of a missing or unidentified person shall submit the report of the missing and unidentified person to the national missing and unidentified person system that is administered by the national institute of justice if the case remains open and unsolved for thirty days after receiving the initial report.
