AN ACT

 

amending section 9-237, arizona revised statutes; relating to cities and towns.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Section 9-237, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE9-237. Appointive officers

In addition to the common council, the officers of every town shall be a town clerk, town marshal,  and town engineer and other officers deemed necessary by the common council, who shall be appointed as provided by ordinance of the town. END_STATUTE
