AN ACT
changing the designation of title 41, chapter 39, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, to "GOVERNMENT procedures and regulations relating to identifying or PERSONAL information"; amending title 41, chapter 39, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41‑4173; relating to dissemination of information.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Heading change
The article heading of title 41, chapter 39, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is changed from "government anti‑identification procedures" to "government procedures and regulations relating to identifying or personal information".
Sec. 2. Title 41, chapter 39, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-4173, to read:
41-4173. Selling or exchange of personal information by government vendors prohibited
A vendor who has a contract with a governmental agency and who performs a function on behalf of a governmental agency shall not sell or exchange information about an individual that the vendor acquires as a result of fulfilling the terms of the contract.
