HOUSE BILL 2011

 

 

AN ACT

 

Amending section 36-1624.01, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to gas appliances.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 36-1624.01, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE36-1624.01.  Liquefied petroleum gas container; filling; evacuating; requirements; violation; classification

A.  A person, other than the owner of a liquefied petroleum gas container or a person authorized in writing by the owner, shall not:

1.  Fill or refill a liquefied petroleum gas container with liquefied petroleum gas or any other gas or compound.

2.  Evacuate a liquefied petroleum gas container.

3.  Deface, erase, obliterate, cover up or otherwise remove or conceal any name, mark, initial or device on a liquefied petroleum gas container.

B.  This section does not apply to cylinders.

C.  Notwithstanding section 36‑1626, a person who violates this section is guilty of a petty offense class 3 misdemeanor.  END_STATUTE
