AN ACT

 

amending title 12, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 12‑119.06; relating to court case records.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 12, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 12-119.06, to read:

START_STATUTE12-119.06.  Publicly accessible and searchable case records; case disposition

If a court maintains case information for a publicly accessible and searchable case record database that is searchable by a person's name or a case number, the court shall prominently post a clear and concise disposition for each listed case within thirty days after the final disposition of the case, including whether the case was dismissed, whether the person was found guilty or responsible or not guilty or not responsible or pled no contest or whether any other final judgment was rendered.
