AN ACT
amending title 13, chapter 36, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 13-3626; relating to family offenses.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 13, chapter 36, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 13-3626, to read:
13-3626. Duty to report missing child; classification
A. A parent, stepparent, guardian or person who has the care or custody of a minor under six years of age and who knows or has reason to know that the minor has been missing for a period of more than twenty-four hours shall immediately report the minor as missing to a law enforcement agency.
B. A violation of this section is a class 5 felony.
