Page 10, line 32, after the period, insert "for the purpose of this subsection "summoned" includes a written promise to appear by the defendant on a uniform traffic ticket and complaint."

Line 35, strike "13‑3903, subsection c" insert "by a city or town law enforcement agency"

Page 14, after line 27, insert:

"Sec. 5.  Effective date

This act is effective from and after December 31, 2016."
