FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 162 as introduced would increase the administrative obligations of the Administrative Office of Courts by an undetermined amount, to assist the Judicial Resources Allocation Commission in determining how to reallocate circuit and district court judges based on population as determined by the federal decennial census. The reallocation of circuit and district court judges would begin with the 2022 Regular Session of the Legislature and would occur every 20 years thereafter.
